I have just downloaded a screen recording software. I am currently a regular user on Windows Vista Home Premium so when ever I try to install something it always comes up with the message %26quot;requires administrator etc...%26quot; (If you have had this before you will know what I am talking about).
If there is a way to change the settings so I could install the programs myself that would be great.

You can install Vista onto another partition and then you will be dual-booting your computer! You can then delete the partition or format the partition and transfer the unallocated space to your default partition, in this case XP. If this is the case for you, you need to install a third party software to partition.

I have a 1998 toyota camry and i am going to perform it. I want to put a turbo kit, a cold air intake system and an intercooler. i knw it sounds wierd but its tru. Well aniway i need professional advice so please dont advice me of sumthin totally rubbish that will stuff up my engine.

How do I change the XPSP2 Product Key from an installed Volume Licensed version to a retail version?
I rebuilt my system and used a corporate CD to reinstall the OS, but now would like to apply my own key since the PC is a personal one. It appears the algorithm for checking keys on a volume licensed version of the OS is incompatible with retail keys. So the standard methods of changing keys, an example of which is at http://pages.prodigy.net/larzman/WinXP_Key_Code.htm do not work. Is there a way to do this without reinstalling the OS with the retail CD? Poverty is relative, too, a thousand dollars in Mexico probably goes a lot farther than it does in the United States. So, to you or me, $3/hr cleaning up trash doesn't sound like much, but when it goes back to Mexico, it takes care of their whole family. It'd be better for everyone if there were MORE investment in Mexico, because that would in turn help the US economy, too. One thing I do think is helping is these kinds of debates, because it's waking people up to the realities that have driven this whole situation along this way. I would personally like to see some of these food processing companies move their operations to mexico, they hire a lot of mexicans as it is, make it a shorter commute and put more money in the communities where it's needed. Hi, I need to change coolant temp sensor, I have the new sensor . Today I asked pepboys to change, they want $85 for install, I think, it is unbelievably expensive for only installing a part. Anyway, if anyone know how to do, please give me directions.

During the installation process, you'll be asked if you want to overwrite the current installation of Windows or install on a new partition. If another suitably sized partition does not exist, you be asked to create one. It's all pretty self-explanatory in Windows setup. Just experiment a bit. That's how I learned.

Can I install downloaded programs in my special download folder?
When I download programs from the web, like AVG antivirus or other free software from cnet, I put them in my download folder to keep them seperate from everything else. My question is, when I go to install them, it automatically uses the Computer/C drive/Program files path to install it in. Can I change that to have them install the program in the download folder instead? I currently have a Geforce 8800 GTS, and I am upgrading to the Radeon HD 4890. My only real concern is the order in which I do things. Should I first uninstall my Nvidia drivers, then change the graphics cards, then install the ATI drivers? You can't. Not really. The default locations are designed to split 32-bit (WOW) and 64-bit programs into separate directories. Keep the boost down and the octane up and perhaps add a thicker head gasket to reduce the compression ratio. Then, I would try to bring data from the knock sensor into the cockpit and test the envelope of the engine, adjusting boost and octane to minimize knock.
