I have just downloaded a screen recording software. I am currently a regular user on Windows Vista Home Premium so when ever I try to install something it always comes up with the message %26quot;requires administrator etc...%26quot; (If you have had this before you will know what I am talking about).
If there is a way to change the settings so I could install the programs myself that would be great.

You can install Vista onto another partition and then you will be dual-booting your computer! You can then delete the partition or format the partition and transfer the unallocated space to your default partition, in this case XP. If this is the case for you, you need to install a third party software to partition.

I have a 1998 toyota camry and i am going to perform it. I want to put a turbo kit, a cold air intake system and an intercooler. i knw it sounds wierd but its tru. Well aniway i need professional advice so please dont advice me of sumthin totally rubbish that will stuff up my engine.

How do I change the XPSP2 Product Key from an installed Volume Licensed version to a retail version?
I rebuilt my system and used a corporate CD to reinstall the OS, but now would like to apply my own key since the PC is a personal one. It appears the algorithm for checking keys on a volume licensed version of the OS is incompatible with retail keys. So the standard methods of changing keys, an example of which is at http://pages.prodigy.net/larzman/WinXP_Key_Code.htm do not work. Is there a way to do this without reinstalling the OS with the retail CD? Poverty is relative, too, a thousand dollars in Mexico probably goes a lot farther than it does in the United States. So, to you or me, $3/hr cleaning up trash doesn't sound like much, but when it goes back to Mexico, it takes care of their whole family. It'd be better for everyone if there were MORE investment in Mexico, because that would in turn help the US economy, too. One thing I do think is helping is these kinds of debates, because it's waking people up to the realities that have driven this whole situation along this way. I would personally like to see some of these food processing companies move their operations to mexico, they hire a lot of mexicans as it is, make it a shorter commute and put more money in the communities where it's needed. How to change coolant temperature sensor on a 98 corolla ve?
Hi, I need to change coolant temp sensor, I have the new sensor . Today I asked pepboys to change, they want $85 for install, I think, it is unbelievably expensive for only installing a part. Anyway, if anyone know how to do, please give me directions.
Thank you.How to change coolant temperature sensor on a 98 corolla ve?i own a shop,and we,ll just save you 85 bucks today,,you,ll need to drain some of the coolant out of it so you don't loose it when you take the sensor out,,drain at least a gallon or more of it out,,once you have done this ,tighten the drain plug back ,and disconnect the wire from it,,and get a wrench or socket that will fit it,and unscrew it out of its place,,when you put the new one back in,,use about two wraps of thread sealant tape on it,,and install it back in..tighten it good ,refill it,and hook the wire back up,and your done,,your 85 bucks richer too,good luck hope this help,s,have a good x-mas.,,PS remove the battery cable for a minute or two ,and it might clear off the trouble code also,,good luck.

How do you prepare your computer to enable Vista Service Pack 1 to install without failing at the last moment?
Is anyone else out there having problems installing Service Pack 1?
Have attempted around 7 times - gets to the last few seconds of 3of3 the 'Failed to install - Reverting changes.' -- DRIVING ME NUTS!.

During the installation process, you'll be asked if you want to overwrite the current installation of Windows or install on a new partition. If another suitably sized partition does not exist, you be asked to create one. It's all pretty self-explanatory in Windows setup. Just experiment a bit. That's how I learned.
If the entire hard drive is one partition, you'll have to use third-party software like Partition Magic to alter the size. Window setup can't do anything about that.
Once the installation is complete, both OSs will be in the boot.ini file and ntldr will present you with the option of choosing which one you want.
The only effect it will have on it is that you won't have as much freespace, which could affect performance. Only one operating system can be booted at one time.
