Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?

I don't know anything about the tweo canidates for presidfent.

Can they ; will they ?

Will the winner finally make changes to help out the poor and the needy in this desperate country? Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?Mexico's government has been so corrupt for so long, I don't know if any one, or ten, men could clean it up. It's like sending someone to clean out a 1,000 horse stable with a toothbrush.

Anyway, they apparently have not yet declared a winner, so we don't even know who's won the election. Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?nah! Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?I think Calderon has won, but they are probably going to have a recount. I think he will help the poor, but gradually.

Obrador might have helped the poor more dramatically, but then Obrador might have found he had bitten off entirely more than he could chew and might not have helped the poor at all.

No party has a majority, so there will need to be compromises on legislation, which should slow progress, as well. Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people? No. They will have to start from the beginning and get a Government that is not corrupt in there. A leader that really cares about and want's his people to stay in his country and make it work. Good luck. Too much money in drugs, to many powerful drug lords and too many years of neglecting it's citizens. Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?well if you havent heard mexico's goverment has established that pot, extacy, and herion is leagal in their country. but the reason for that is the govement can now tax it. well thats what i heard the govement of that country did. im not for sure but hell it looks like ill be spending alot of time in the south i mean it is 420 somewheresWill the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?Hopefully.Mexico is starting to lean more towards a democracy rather than a socialist country, thats a good thing. Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?Personally, I think Calderon is the smarter of the two, but I hope whoever gets elected will try and reduce(or eliminate) corruption and make life better for all. Then again, Calderon is from Fox's party, so maybe they can't expect much from him. Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people? No neither will do much, this was the point of the Other Campaign headed up by the Zapatistas.

And tomorrow we will wake up orphans indeed. Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?I sure hope so. I would love to visit Mexico someday. Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people? They all scums nothing changeWill the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people?God, I hope so...one of the reasons for all the illegal immigration is that their leadership has sat on it's *** collecting money, but not doing anything with it and keeping it all for themselves. All most people, including mexicans, want out of life is a chance at a steady job that pays enough to pay the bills, keep a roof over their head, and maybe enough left over to do something nice, like buy a decent car, get your teeth fixed, something like that, and when there's no jobs that pay enough, you're stuck. Poverty is relative, too, a thousand dollars in Mexico probably goes a lot farther than it does in the United States. So, to you or me, $3/hr cleaning up trash doesn't sound like much, but when it goes back to Mexico, it takes care of their whole family. It'd be better for everyone if there were MORE investment in Mexico, because that would in turn help the US economy, too. One thing I do think is helping is these kinds of debates, because it's waking people up to the realities that have driven this whole situation along this way. I would personally like to see some of these food processing companies move their operations to mexico, they hire a lot of mexicans as it is, make it a shorter commute and put more money in the communities where it's needed. Or, they can open up another plant IN Mexico. Lots of different ways to do things, employ lots of people, get their economy stirred up and working hard, Mexico could be very wealthy if they ran it better, and their people would be a whole lot happier....so would americans, because you KNOW that 95% of the people coming north aren't evil, they aren't criminals, they're not out to take your house etc...there are some, just like there are in america,

but the vast majority are just trying to MAKE it. I think we should try and really help them, and believe it or not redefining the border is part of that. When you can tell which land is part of which country, you can tell who you need to talk to/vote for to try and make changes in that area...kind of like sweeping off home plate...it keeps things honest, and there's a lot of need for that. Will the new President of Mexico install positive changes to help his people? It about time that The Mexican citizens demand their government to clean up the corruption in their country.I think people start smelling their fresh air and coffee.12 million of illegal in U.S. that I am sure part of them came from Mexico. The illegal situation in the United State already made an impact in Mexico.I am sure the recount will happens and we have to wait until September in order to know the result.I think some positive impact will arrive in Mexico and The U.S. government should get involve and do something about it.We as the American should speak up for our friends' plight and stand by the clean Mexican government who really want to serve the people not just for show.
