How can I install programs on Windows Vista without being an Administrator.?

I have just downloaded a screen recording software. I am currently a regular user on Windows Vista Home Premium so when ever I try to install something it always comes up with the message %26quot;requires administrator etc...%26quot; (If you have had this before you will know what I am talking about).

If there is a way to change the settings so I could install the programs myself that would be great.

Thanks. How can I install programs on Windows Vista without being an Administrator.?I am using this program to record my screen while I play games.

Before Total Screen Recorder, I tried like 5 different softwares(including Frag,Camstudio...) but I had many issues such as the game is recorded in the corner of the video with these program, the video is so blurry, and constant skipping on the playback of the video because the software can not record fast enough to keep up with the game.

Total Screen Recorder is an awesome software that I can use to record my game without all those annoying crap recording problems. Good Luck!

You will still have to supply the computers Administrator password though.

Alternatively you could disable UAC (User Account Control) in Control Panel %26gt; User Accounts (though again you need the Administrator password.)

Alternatively login or switch user to the Administrator account (though again you will need ........)
