How to change icons and install flash menu in sony ericsson G900.?

How to connect my mobile with xs++ application. How to change icons and install flash menu in sony ericsson G900.?You don't necessarily have to use xs++, I personally find it to be a little awkward to work with. You could rather use Far+JDFlasher, I've done several upgrades to different types of phones and Far+JDFlasher stays the easiest. Now to get to the point:

Changing Menu Icons-

Your phones menu style and icons is determined by your menu.ml file which is situated in your system folders. FS ... tpa/present/system/menu/ **menu ml here**. when you open the menu.ml file (using notepad )it'll look like a normal written page no funky symbols and stuff. What it basically does is assign a image(jpg, png, non-animated gif) as an icon and determines the style of your menu.

The following site shows you how to alter your original menu.ml (which you can download)

This is a tutorial on how to do it using xs++

Flash menus are a bit easier than manually changing the icons. You can search the web for Sony Ericsson flash menu and you'll probably easily find them. They consist out of two components the .thm file that is directed to the .swf file which you can upload to your phone like any other theme. and then the .swf file which just has to be placed into the system folders. FS ... tpa/present/system/desktop/flash?**place swf here** after that your done. Not all phone support flash file, to check if your phone does support it, download a swf file and if you can view it, it's supports flash menus.
