How do i change or install another operating system on my PS3 and what operating systems are compatible on PS3

am just geting fedup of this unknown operating system that is on the ps3,i want the ps3 to act more like a pc for me since my laptop past away(R.I.P)two weeks ago.How do i change or install another operating system on my PS3 and what operating systems are compatible on PS3You currently have two choices.
