I have a 1997 pontiac grand prix gtp if i install a cold airintake syaytem do i have to change parts so engine?

I have a 1997 pontiac grand prix gtp if i install a cold airintake syaytem do i have to change parts the check engine light does not come on? will the cars computer mind having a cold air intake syatem?I have a 1997 pontiac grand prix gtp if i install a cold airintake syaytem do i have to change parts so engine?just make sure the mass airflow sensor is still hooked into the new intake system.
