It says that it's on automatic but I have to prompt it to do it. And I want to change it so that it does it when I shut down but I can't figure out how to do it!!
Windows XP home..How do I change my updates/install to do it automatically when I shut my comp down?Open control panel then click automatic updates, change it to automatic (reccomended) when there is an updates it will download automatically and install but it will still instruct you to restart computer to take effect the installed updates or during shut down it will appear in the shut down bar. make sure that your using genuine windows.
